The first day in Krefeld, Germany, saw four teams advance to upper bracket semi-finals, while four have to fight their way through the lower bracket. 

No major surprises have occured thus far at APM S2 Finals. mousesports, E-Frag.net and HellRaisers have won their series without dropping a map, while FlipSid3 ran into some trouble with CSGL but managed to advance in the end.
